This evening three members of the team, working closely withStingrays 315 Swim Schoolhave launched the Lancaster Area SAR Nipper Club with massive success.Nippers are an international age group of young lifesavers, and headed in the UK by Surf Life Saving GB. Children from the age of 5-12 are taught important water safety skills not only to keep themselves safe, but to act as water safety ambassadors to their peers. In addition to lifesaving, Nippers take part in Lifesaving Sport, with events based on common rescue skills used by professional lifeguards.
LASAR Nippers meet at 3-1-5 Health Club on a Friday evening 18:00 - 18:30. Swimming ability: hold 25m swimming badge. Nippers will need a t-shirt they can wear in the swimming pool. Sessions are free to 3-1-5 members, and £4.50 per session to non members.
